
Hypnotherapy is a relaxed, focused state of mind where your subconscious becomes more open to positive change. It’s a natural way to tap in to and build your inner resources to work through things that are challenging you like stress, habits, and emotional blocks. It is estimated around a whopping 90-95% of our thoughts and behaviours are driven by our subconscious minds! Hypnotherapy acts as the doorway into our underlying programming to gain a greater understanding of how our minds and bodies work, and to create lasting change.
WHAT TO EXPECT
In your first session we will have a thorough discussion about where you're at and what you'd like to change, then we will do some gentle hypnotherapy to begin the process and understand what specifically works for you. We also may discuss some nervous system information and work somatically to create a sense of comfort in your body you can use as an anchor. You will be in complete control and have choice over every step of the process.
In subsequent sessions we can delve deeper into the challenges you're facing and really focus on creating new beliefs, patterns and behaviours, solidifying new neural pathways for lasting change. In each session, I will meet you where you are at, and be guided by your choices and what your body and nervous system can comfortably hold.
